The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience in system security engineering to help our country and assist our clients with critical missions? As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the Information System Security Engineering needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect our military.
On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network and security devices, applications, and identifying tools. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity, you’ll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.
In this role, you’ll closely impact the DoD by protecting its infrastructure. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.
What You’ll Work On:
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:
6+ years of experience in an ISSE, ISSO, or IT role focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Experience leading implementation of comprehensive PAM Solution, defining and creating PAM policies, procedures and standards and architecting and deploying PAM infrastructure components, vaults, proxies and management consoles
Experience defining and implementing least privilege access controls for privilege accounts and developing role-based access control (RBAC) policies for privileged access
Experience in scripting languages for automation
Experience with PAM solutions CyberArk, Thycotic, and BeyondTrust
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science or Cybersecurity
IAM III Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with DoD architecture, strategic planning, concept of operations, performance attributes, system architecture and design, evolving methodologies, and statutory and regulatory requirements
Experience providing technical support and training on PAM solutions and collaborating with other teams to develop and implement user awareness programs
Experience with evaluating and recommending new PAM technologies and solutions
Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community cybersecurity policies and regulations
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and how PAM supports Zero Trust architecture
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
