As a Infrasturcture Solution Architect you'll be a pivotal team member who connects the client's technical functional and implementation requirements with a solution design and proposal. You'll work closely with clients and sellers to build solutions based on the meeting the client's business outcomes and known best practices for the technology and industry. In this fast-paced role, you'll design, and construct build work breakdown structure leading to the rough order of magnitude leading to the price and statement of work. A successful Solution Architect will demonstrate a natural bias towards self-motivation and navigating data and people to find answers and present solutions that ensure world class delivery.

* End-to-End Technical Guidance: Providing expert end-to-end technical guidance to lead discovery discussions with prospective clients, assess architecture needs for projects, work with technical leads and sellers to create proposals.
* Finding the Best Architectural Outcomes: Leading client workshops; influencing client stakeholders at all levels to find the best architectural outcomes that align to business and technology strategies and initiatives into actionable roadmaps with clear direction on execution to ensure business value and ROI.
* Maintaining Solution Review Boards: Developing and contributing to the solution review boards for proposals including oversight for technology assurance, quality and risk evaluation
* Building Successful Relationships: Establishing and maintaining personal relationship at all levels – from engineers to CIOs – with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach healthy resolutions.
Documenting and Sizing Services: A provable track record of documenting and sizing services focused solutions including functional and implementation requirements that connect phases such as design, development, integration, migration, production support and development operations.
Building Credibility and Client-Centric Skills: Skills and knowledge for building credibility and services orientation with client stakeholders aligned to Infrastructure (Storage, IBM Power, IBM Z, Cloud).
Storage Technology Skills: Familiar with the design, deployment and optimization of technologies including Storage, IBM Power, IBM Z and Cloud, for Data and AI, hybrid cloud and data resiliency solutions with IBM technologies.
Infrastructure Technology Expertise: Experience working with a broad spectrum of infrastructure technology solution.
Storage Technology Expertise: Experience working with a broad spectrum of storage technology solution.
Cloud Consulting Experience: Experience working in consulting of solutions including SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and/or Cloud.
IBM Power / i Expertise: Requires an expert technical level in IBM i operating system, AIX/Linux, Db2 for IBM i and systems software such as PowerVM, PowerVC and PowerHA or equivalent enterprise solutions.
Technical Expertise in Mainframe System: Technical expertise in z/OS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE operating systems and associated mainframe system software.
Technical Expertise in Various Domains: Deep technical expertise in at least one systems software and technical domain such as cyber resiliency, security, encryption, enterprise containers, automation, application modernization, networking, and performance.
