Overview
The Mastercard Cybersecurity team is seeking a Vice President - Product Management, Cybersecurity Risk to serve as a senior leader and subject matter expert in ecosystem risk management. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving the development of innovative cybersecurity products while collaborating closely with regional and sales teams to position these offerings effectively. As the owner of the product line P&L, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our ecosystem risk solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and business goals.
As a key contributor to our cybersecurity strategy, you will lead and mentor cybersecurity practitioners, fostering creativity and efficiency in identifying solutions that address complex risk challenges. You’ll guide your team to develop business-focused recommendations that deliver measurable client value. In addition, as a sales leader, you’ll cultivate and manage relationships with mid- to senior-level clients, proactively engaging with their strategic agendas and navigating relationship risks.
You will also serve as a mentor and coach, guiding junior teammates beyond direct engagements and championing knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement within Mastercard’s cybersecurity and risk domains. In this role, you’ll not only influence the transformation of our clients but also play a pivotal role in shaping Mastercard’s future.

enhance team performance on cybersecurity initiatives.
• Commercial Focus: Identify opportunities for leveraging cybersecurity solutions
and drive cross-sell initiatives to maximize client value.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Extensive experience in risk management, data analytics, and financial services
with a proven track record of building successful business portfolios.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST)
and hands-on experience performing risk assessments.
• Experience leading technology implementation projects.
• Experience in the Financial Services or Healthcare industries is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple teams across
multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education & Certifications:
• BS / MS in business management, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
Additional Skills:
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities, with the capability to
structure data-driven solutions for complex client challenges.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—in English and other
local office languages.
• Demonstrated success in developing relationships with mid- and executive-level
clients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maximizing
available resources.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
