We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) Manager - Cybersecurity, specializing in security, who is passionate about leading a team of architects who drive our customers’ security transformation on the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Platforms. This is a people management role with accountability for a portfolio of customers and a portion of the Microsoft business results. The role is flexible in that you can work up to 75% from home.

Customer Success (Security): A Security Cloud Solution Architect Manager leads a team of Security Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) who are dedicated to helping customers achieve their security mission outcomes through Microsoft Security solutions. By leveraging expertise in coaching and managing technical teams, the manager ensures that customers realize the full value of their Microsoft Security investments. The Security Cloud Solution Architect Manager and the team are responsible for aligning customers' success plans with their cyber mission outcomes, covering areas such as Threat Protection, Cloud Security, Data Security, Identity, and emerging security technologies.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role mapping customer outcomes to technical solutions, driving technical adoption, handling customer escalations, or leading technical projects, teams, or functions
- Learn-it-all mindset in staying up to date with new security scenarios and solutions, and an established understanding of the security industry, Microsoft Security, and competitive solutions/services.
- Can be demonstrated by technical certification in Security (e.g., Microsoft Security Technologies, Cloud Security, OCSP, GIAC Certifications, or similar security operations/response)
Other Requirements
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU Dual Use Regulation, and/or other export control regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide proof of citizenship, U.S. permanent residency, or other protected status (e.g., under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)) for assessment of eligibility to access the export-controlled information. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport. Lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees may verify status using other documents, where applicable.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or consultative delivery.
- Management: 7+ years of experience in people management.
- Change: 5+ years of experience driving change management or technical adoption.
- Technical understanding of Microsoft Security Solutions.
- Deliver the end-to-end security story for Microsoft, highlighting the value proposition.
- Apply design thinking methodology to construct architectures that drive value for the customer, incorporating policies, governance, and customer systems into the overall framework.
- Experience in security and expertise around related technologies and concepts such as Zero Trust, threat management, SOC monitoring (SIEM / SOAR), and Extended Detection & Response (XDR) + SIEM, Cloud Security, and Identity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Understanding customer business outcomes, helping them define the value of the outcomes, aligned to industry outcomes, and assessing the value of the solution.
Preferred Specialty Experiences:
- Experience and understanding of sales processes, tools, and operations
- Experience driving usage of cloud technologies, helping customers realize value from their investments
- Experience or ability to provide thought leadership to incubate new capabilities or services
Travel
- Travel is an integral part of this position. You should be willing to travel as is demanded by the needs of our customers and our business. This position requires approximately 25% overnight travel if you reside or are willing to relocate within commuting distance to the work. This position may require up to 75% overnight travel if you are not within commuting distance to the work.
Cloud Solution Architecture M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.
