This is a full-time position from June - August 2025. You will work 40 hours per week during core business hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm MST.
What You Will Do:
A Cyber Engineering Intern will be paired with more experienced Cyber engineers in performing cyber security system lifecycle tasks including: requirements engineering, capability design, product development, product integration, and testing activities.
This position is for a summer intern to support the C2BMC with the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Testing (SEIT) Resource Management Area on the C2BMC program. The selected candidate will be given tasks appropriate for their level and will work with mentors to develop their skills as needed.
Coordinate with System Engineering and Global Task Orders supporting the C2BMC Program Engineering Team.
No travel requirements.
What You Will Learn:
Hands-on experience in Cyber Engineering.
Experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as scripting and configuration management.
Gain understanding of Cyber industry/DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems.
Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls.
Experience with Agile Product team in developing cyber security systems engineering capabilities while adhering to the Program documentation and other Cyber processes.
Experience with performing cyber security systems engineering for DoD Information Systems.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Aerospace, Cyber or Computer Science.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration and initiative.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with advanced SE analytics tools
Demonstrated adaptability and innovation in problem-solving.
Prior experience or coursework related to systems engineering.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
