POSITION OVERVIEW
Trend Micro is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team based in Perth. As a Trend Micro product expert, you will guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions and take joint ownership with our Sales team in developing customer relationships, providing leadership in security architecture and help influence customer’s security strategy. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the technical point of contact for WA region Enterprise customers and prospects.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and outcomes to address their operational and security requirements.
- Confidently deliver engaging technical demonstrations highlighting the benefits of the solution
- Present to all levels of an organisation complex technical issues and solutions in a meaningful, engaging, and digestible manner.
- Assist with best practice installation and configurations.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to design solutions that solve customer problems.
- Developing close relationships to help influence the customer's technical strategy.
- Provide responses to tenders. Able and willing to travel for customer-facing activities.
- Deliver training to customers and prospects about Trend Micro solutions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience of delivery or implementation of IT solutions with a focus on security.
- A strong interest in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for customer security.
- Excellent communication skills and confident delivery of technical presentations.
- Experience in working with complex enterprise organisations.
- Motivated self-starter who is keen to develop new skills and talents
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience with IT architecture from the operating system through to networking, email, and web technologies.
- Excellent understanding of public cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Linux based operating systems.
