Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5, Canada.
Position Summary:
We are a cutting-edge cybersecurity company dedicated to building innovative solutions that protect businesses from evolving threats. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of DevOps and cybersecurity, helping us design and implement systems that are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, and GitOps.
Utilize cloud infrastructure services like AWS and Azure for deploying and managing applications.
Write efficient, maintainable scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and infrastructure management.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure delivery of code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, security experts, and threat researchers) to align DevOps processes with cybersecurity best practices.
Design and implement scalable infrastructure using containers to support secure, resilient applications.
Requirements:
Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Proven experience in managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and compliance automation.
Experience in a cybersecurity-focused environment is a plus.
Strong knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with VMware environments like ESXi is a plus.
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
