About the Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director in Cyber Security function for the Application Security Program that prevents introduction of unmanaged risks through code changes. This is a leadership role responsible for the strategic and operational implementation of application security program enhancing the security posture of the enterprise.

18+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or information Systems
One or more professional certifications like CSSLP (Certified Secure Systems Lifecycle Professional), CISM or CISSP
10+ years of Application Security engineering / Implementation experience
8+ years of Managing, hiring, engagement and developing specialized application security engineers across platforms.
6+ years of experience in working experience in the following security products: Checkmarx, Checkmarx One, Fortify, Invicti, Appscan, WebInspect, Nexus, Blackduck etc.
3+ years of DevSecOps / Automation experience
Expertise in secure coding standards and agile secure SDLC and deep knowledge of EPL integration
Well versed with application security vulnerabilities (OWASP) and remediation strategies.
Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of intersection of Application Security domain and the latest development trends in API, Container and Cloud technologies.
Demonstrated skills of communicating findings, solutions and presenting recommendations to a wide audience of stakeholders such as senior leadership / audit / regulators
Stay informed and educated on current and potential security threats and attacks
Job Expectations:
Lead the Application Security Program team in India.
Demonstrate to the strategic leadership to enhance the application security posture of the enterprise.
Drive and execute the application security roadmap in alignment with enterprise Information security priorities.
Increase Scalability of the application security adoption to cloud-first principle and tighter alignment with Enterprise Pipeline (EPL).
Continuously align product development with BPPA architecture and agile construct
Manage the workload, allocate resources, and ensure the agreed timelines are adhered to. Ensure quality delivery within the function through quality review activities
Mentor engineers and managers in their professional development
Deliver on-time, high quality output in alignment to the Application Security product backlog in partnership with Product Managers and Product Owners.
Demonstrate strong understanding of risk and controls and drive a consistent and effective approach to identifying risks. Facilitate risk and control assessments of sufficient quality to understand and manage exposure to the organization
Lead the activities related to People management, Performance management, Talent acquisition, Team engagement, Learning and development, Talent retention etc.
Engineering mindset, experience of working across senior stakeholders and user-groups.
Experience in technology consulting companies or experience in US banking sector is preferred
Demonstrated experience of communicating secure development concepts to non-technical audiences and the ability to achieve results through strong communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge on Information Security related requirements in applications, secure development standards, and Best Practices.
Demonstrated ability in publishing secure coding standards.
Experience in Collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve results.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
Demonstrated experience of conflict resolution, negotiation and problem identification and solving skills.
Superior Knowledge of AppSec security products
