The AWS customer-facing security services team is looking for passionate and innovative engineers to join to help build our next generation of AWS security service platforms. Our team builds security products that help ensure customers use AWS services in the most secure environment possible. We need a strong candidate to help us build new features and functionality with a strong focus on security and operational excellence. We are a growing team with a large roadmap, so there's plenty of scope and challenging problems to help build your security development experience and advance your career in this highly sought after career path.
This position involves working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment that provide customers a single workflow to measure and assess workload security threats, risks and compliance posture across multiple cloud environments. Our ideal candidate is someone who has deep experience building security products with exposure to multiple public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP. A successful candidate in this role is not only passionate about building functioning software but also about ensuring that the same software achieves its goals in operational reality. We are looking for candidates who have strong ownership and desire to work on cutting edge, complex computer science problems, and the ability to simplify that complexity for our customers. Most importantly, you must have a strong backbone, be willing to fight for the privacy and protection of our customers, and be able to earn and maintain the trust of your coworkers.
Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.
Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. Our senior members enjoy one-on-one mentoring and thorough, but kind, code reviews. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects that help each team member develop into a well-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.
