The Opportunity:
Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture—you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering skills to help develop secure systems and designs for DoD clients? We’re looking for an engineer who can create solutions for our Army and other Service clients that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.
As a cyber security engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with the DoD to discover their cyber risks, understand policies and requirements, and develop a mitigation plan. You’ll review technical, environmental, and other details from Vendor and DoD System Engineer SMEs and designers to identify and assess potential vulnerabilities and evaluate requirements compliance. Then, you’ll advise your clients regarding corrective actions via technical exchange meetings, assessment reports, presentations, white papers, and milestone reviews.
You will provide and tailor authoritative security requirements for the client solution, understand system functionality, interfaces, and architecture, and be aware of and incorporate client issues, concerns, and risks, and understand the cyber requirements for the project. You will also work with stakeholders to advise on cyber security aspects of system design issues and technologies.
Booz Allen is committed to creating an environment where you can expand your cyber career through mentoring, the opportunity to leverage new resources, and the ability to gain in-demand certifications to sharpen your skill set. With opportunities supporting both the private and public sectors across multiple geographies, your career is only limited by your own appetite for exploration.
Work with us to secure our clients’ systems, networks, and crucial infrastructures.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
