Vulnerability Researcher
Key Role:
Provide network security research to identify and exploit unknown vulnerabilities in code to support our cyber business. Create custom fuzzing software to enumerate and differentiate our delivery. Provide cyber and SIGINT exploitation of large-scale networks and the data riding on them to uncover unknown and emerging adversary capabilities leveraging expertise in exploitation. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with software development, including Python and C
3+ years of experience with network vulnerability assessments
3+ years of experience with software reverse engineering
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with network exploitation tools, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience with network exploitation tools
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
