Darktrace are looking for a Medior DevOps Engineer to join our team in The Hague and be the crucial link between the Ops team in The Hague and the Ops team in our headquarters in Cambridge.
The company's European R&D centre is located in The Hague. Netherlands. This resulted from the acquisition of Cybersprint, a successful Dutch cybersecurity start-up, in March 2022. The Cybersprint product, now rebranded as Darktrace PREVENT/Attack Surface Management, was the ideal complement to the Darktrace portfolio. It was a crucial piece of the puzzle to create The Darktrace Cyber Al Loop; the industry-first set of Al capabilities that work together autonomously to optimise an organisation's state of security through a continuous feedback loop.
PREVENT offers automated asset discovery and assessment. As well as supporting customers prioritise, mitigate and monitor risks, PREVENT allows for continuous data quality, integration, reporting and alerting.
This role is hybrid with an expectation of working from The Hague office 2 days a week.
Responsibilities:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with the former Cybersprint team in delivering world-class technology that protects thousands of customers world-wide from advanced threats, including ransomware, cloud and SaaS attacks. You will be joining an energetic and a ambitious team with diverse experience, viewpoints, and ways of working who challenge one another and think outside the box.
Your responsibilities will be multifaceted, encompassing the development, management, configuration, and automation of systems and services. Collaborating within agile, specialized teams, you'll infuse your expertise into projects, whether working independently or fostering fresh ideas to propel our endeavors forward. Your adept prioritization skills will ensure seamless integration into broader organizational goals, addressing immediate challenges while advancing our collective progress.
Candidate requirements:
If you are analytical, possess strong communication skills, and are proficient in English, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with Unix/Linux based Systems (BSD, RHEL, Debian) and have experience in managing large databases using PostregSQL.
