Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) manages security incidents, leads investigations, and resolves threats to systems and data. Cyber Security Specialists are responsible for incident response, digital forensics, or both.
Incident Response Coordinators are responsible for receiving, triaging, protecting, and remediating security incidents. Communicate effectively with internal business and technical teams, including management and corporate departments. Conducts meetings with stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of information, agree on actions, track their completion, and document findings and learnings.
Work with internal global teams to ensure security incidents are handled in a timely and professional manner and contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT security posture across IBM. Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseIncident Response Coordinator:
・Experienced in incident management and understand security incident management standards and best practices.
・Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Japanese, and other languages a plus.
・Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
・Knowledge of common security threats, attack vectors, and intrusion techniques.
・Knowledge of Unix shell and common scripting languages for data manipulation.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise・2+ years of experience in incident response, digital forensics, or both in a global enterprise.
・At least one professional certification in information security (CISSP, GIAC, CFCE, CCE, DFCP, GCIH, etc.).
・Detailed knowledge of IBM Resilient.
