The M365 Cloud Security – Security Architecture Lifecycle Team for E+D (SALTed) is looking for a Principal Security Assurance Engineer to help us drive objectives to meet our goal of offering the most secure and trusted productivity experiences in the world, focusing in the AI/CoPilot space. This position requires a strong passion for technology, growth engineering, data-informed decision making, partner engagement, and most of all: customer focus. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in software development lifecycle, designing or developing Software and Services, large scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An extensive and diverse education, experience, and training, with a preference for a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Assurance, Computer Security, or a related technical discipline.
Security Assurance IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
