The following position is to join our Corporate RTX Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team:
Role Overview:
RTX is seeking a highly motivated engineer to serve as the Operational Engineer for the RTX Key Management Service (KMS) environment. The employee guides the technical implementation, plans for growth and performance, and offers architecture design guidance for the service. Collaborates across the organization to resolve issues and satisfy customer requirements. The position is located in Richardson, TX.
Applicant must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring scheduled goals are met. Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
What You Will Do:
- Onboard customers onto Thales CipherTrust and the KMS Platform.
- Educate RTX population about KMS services and present roadshow.
- Develop, test, and maintainThales CipherTrust Product.
- Support deployment of the Thales CipherTrust Manager Product.
- Maintain Thales Hardware Security Modules.
- Provide support and assist with all aspects of KMS consumer integration support.
- Develop the necessary documentation for internal team and end user processes.
- Touch labor required for servers in McKinney, TX and Richardson, TX.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree.
- At least 1 year of application integration experience.
- At least 2 years of experience creating technical documentation. Applicant must have excellent technical writing/editing and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- At least 1 year of customer support experience. Must possess good verbal skills, especially relating to supporting KMS customers on the phone.
- US Citizen Required
- Willing to obtain Security Clearance
- Location: HYBRID
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
- Experience with data encryption and key management implementations.
- System Administrator experience, *nix preferred.
- Experience with the Thales CipherTrust Product.
Preferred Certifications:
- CSSLP, Security+, GSEC
