This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We invite you to come innovate with mentors who will challenge you to develop meaningful skills. You’ll contribute your creativity and outstanding ideas, while working alongside T-Mobile employees. We’ll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.
What It’s Like:
The threat response team responds to cybersecurity threats in real time 24x7. This position would be assisting the L1 cybersecurity analyst in initial triage and monitoring. This position will give the intern an opportunity to view many ways SOC analysts operate.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to cybersecurity alerts
Work with senior talent to learn technical skills on detection and response
Create tuning requests to help reduce alert volume and false positives
What It Takes:
Strong background in blue team cybersecurity operations, including knowledge of SIEMs and responding to alerts
Security+, BLT1, CySA+
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
