What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in Java or Python development
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps best practices and automated testing methodologies
- Solid understanding of Information Security fundamentals and processes.
- Strong technical leadership leveraging industry best practices for systems design and architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field within the last 7 years OR 5 years' experience in information technology or risk and vulnerability management area within the last 7 years.
The Information Security team has the task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. Solving some of the most unique cyber security problems in the industry, our team members share an elevated level of creativity and ingenuity to secure data for one of the largest e-commerce operations in the world.
As a Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer on the Cryptography Application Development team, you will be responsible for providing technical design, direction, and architecture on Cryptography related products. You will also assist with development and maintenance of cryptography services and solutions leveraged by the enterprise.
What you'll do:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and execution of standards, architecture and best practices for cryptography related software development.
- Architect enterprise scalable solutions to solve cryptography problems.
- Guide and challenge team members through their technical development.
- Evaluate the risk of changes and provide actionable guidelines to reduce impact.
- Use your diverse knowledge base, skills, and expertise to ensure changes are documented clearly and implemented with no impact.
- Communicate guidelines to all InfoSec stakeholders.

Reston, Virginia US-07759:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
