Job Summary

The eDiscovery & Forensic Lab’s Development and Engineering team that sits within Walmart Global Tech’s Information Security Division is dedicated to maintaining a secure operating environment and preserving the trust of our customers, associates, and stakeholders. Our focus is on providing support to the eDiscovery and Forensics Lab- an ANAB accredited lab- whose mission is to support our business partners in the identification, collection, and preservation of electronically stored information related to litigation and investigative matters.
The eDiscovery & Forensic Lab’s Development and Engineering teamdevelops and supports the products that help secure the largest retailer on Earth. We use cutting edge technology to create products that solve the complex and ever-changing challenges faced by the Lab team and its customers within Walmart.
What You’ll Do:
- You will report to the Director of the Lab’s Development & Engineering Team.
- You will be responsible for supporting the Lab in developing custom solutions to aid in creation of applications that aid in the collection of evidence while maintaining the Lab’s ANAB accreditation.
- You will be responsible for gathering complex user requirements, developing innovative products enabling a nationally recognized accreditation, utilizing DevOps principles while working in a team-based environment, leveraging a build pipeline that includes automated and security testing of code, and triaging bugs and support in existing products to provide value to the Forensics and eDiscovery Lab.
- Providecustomer support to respond to theneeds of the internal Lab team or our customer base within Walmart.
- This position will be responsible for hands-on programming in multiple languages, including C#, .NET Framework, .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Razor && Blazor Pages, Entity Framework / Dapper, TSQL, LINQ.

- The ability to work in a team-based environment utilizing DevOps principles with the desire and ability to learn in a fast-paced evolving environment.
- Track record of generating ideas for process improvements and practices that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the managed applications while working in a team-based environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Core .NET Skills-
C# Programming: Proficiency in C# language.
.NET Framework: Understanding of .NET Framework versions and their features.
.NET 6+: Knowledge of the latest .NET versions, including new features and improvements. - Web Development-
ASP.NET MVC: Basic understanding of Model-View-Controller architecture.
ASP.NET Core: Familiarity with building web applications using ASP.NET Core.
Razor & Blazor Pages: Knowledge of Razor syntax and page-based coding. - Database Management-
Entity Framework: Experience with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) using Entity Framework.
SQL: Basic knowledge of SQL and database management.
LINQ (Language Integrated Query): Ability to query data using LINQ. - Tools and Technologies-
Visual Studio: Proficiency in using Visual Studio as the primary development environment.
Git: Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Preferred Experience-
RESTful Services: Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Unit Testing: Basic knowledge of writing and running unit tests.
Design Patterns: Familiarity with common design patterns in software development.
Agile Methodology: Understanding of Agile practices and methodologies.
Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices and how they are implemented in .NET.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
