Cyber Security Specialist – National Salary Circa £55,000. London Salary Circa £75,000.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual in Cloud Technology and cyber security, who can work with minimal supervision looking for a role in our UK CISO team then we would love to hear from you.
A bit about the job:
You will be Part of the GI security team, helping GI and other stakeholders to make the right security and risk management decisions by ensuing the inclusion of security policy and industry good practice whilst remaining pragmatic and supportive.
Main point of security liaison between different stakeholders including ops teams, platform team and service consumers for our Zero platform. CISO stakeholder in change control, review and provide security input to changes, designs, and other initiatives.
Overseeing Zero internal security assurance activities and continual security improvement. Tracking risks and compliance and producing regular security reporting to stakeholders in Zero and to GI Security team.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based inNorwich, Bristol, or London.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Certification for information security such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent work experience (3+ years of dedicated information security experience, ideally 5+ years).
Ability to communicate to technical staff, senior stakeholders and produce quality reports / documentation and to work independently, learn and use initiative.
Can support change activity and review architectural and solution designs and call out security issues, whether related to technology, people or process and then suggest pragmatic solutions.
Good knowledge and experience of AWS.
Good working knowledge of contemporary technical and security topics such as firewalls, web application firewalls, cloud, web technology, development, IT operations.

National Salary Circa £55,000. London Salary Circa £75,000. (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
