Teams Security team focuses on keeping Microsoft Teams and its users safe and secure – across the full stack and all dimensions. We are seeking a PrincipalSecurity Engineer to join our team and help drive security and safety improvements within Microsoft Teams. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ year of experience in Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
- OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience in application security or a closely related field.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
- OR 7+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, cyber security, anomaly detection
- OR equivalent experience.
- Working experience with JavaScript/Typescript, ReactJS, C++, C# and Azure.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
